Terms and Conditions

1. Platform Nature & Scope

Kita Krew operates as an invite-only technological platform connecting independent part-time event crew ("Crew") and event organizers or companies ("Recruiters"). Kita Krew provides workflow automation tools, including job postings, applicant review, attendance verification, and worksheet calculations.

Kita Krew is not an employment agency or a direct employer. Crew members act as independent contractors. Engagements, job requirements, and event logistics are established directly between the Recruiter and the Crew.

2. Account Registration & Invite-Only Access

• Access to Kita Krew is strictly invite-only. Invite links are one-time, non-transferable, and expire as designated.
• Users agree to provide accurate, true, and complete onboarding information. Supplying false identity or company data constitutes grounds for immediate account suspension or termination.
• Each account must be maintained by its designated holder. Users are responsible for safeguarding login credentials.

3. Recruiter Obligations

• Legal Representation: Recruiters declare they are authorised officers or agents of their registered entity (SSM).
• Fair Job Postings: Jobs posted must accurately specify hiring requirements, venue, working hours, attire, and agreed compensation.
• Attendance & Payout: Recruiters agree to accurately record crew attendance on the event date and promptly execute payments directly to the crew's bank accounts in accordance with the stated payment deadlines.
• Deductions: Any pay deduction (e.g. for tardiness or attire breaches) must have a genuine, documented reason recorded at worksheet completion.

4. Crew Obligations

• Professional Conduct: Crew agree to arrive punctually, adhere to the event dress code, and perform assigned event duties responsibly.
• Withdrawal Notice: If an accepted applicant is unable to attend an event due to an emergency or conflict, they must formally withdraw or notify the recruiter promptly through the platform.
• Payment Information: Crew must ensure that banking details (bank name, account number) and tax identification provided during onboarding are accurate to facilitate direct transfers.

5. Payments & Money Movement

In compliance with Malaysian financial regulations and the Money Services Business Act 2011, Kita Krew does not hold, escrow, or transmit funds between parties. Payment is conducted directly by the Recruiter to the Crew member's bank account. Kita Krew tracks attendance status and maintains record-keeping sheets for audit and reporting purposes.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, Kita Krew shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from on-site event occurrences, recruiter non-payment, cancellation, or crew absence.
